In Memoriam – Jennifer Gibson
(26 July, 1976 – 22 October, 2020)
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
As many of you already know, we lost Sister Jennifer Gibson.
She was a pillar of our IAM Local 2603. Until her untimely passing, Jennifer was
the Recording Secretary and a member of our Shop Committee. From the start, she never lost focus of our goals to improve our memberships’ wellbeing.
Jennifer’s mission was to ensure that all members knew the Union was here to support them. Her generous soul reached beyond the Labour movement.
Jennifer consistently gave back to the community through donating her time and shared her love of baking with others. She advocated for the less fortunate members of our society.
For those of you who were fortunate to have known Jennifer, we will miss her unique sense of humor and kind heart.
